Donations and About Us

Cambridheshire Hen Rescue is based Near March, in Cambridgeshire, and has a Team dedicated to helping rescue Battery Hens, Caged Hens and Farmed Hens, re-homing them into free ranging environments.n rescuorganisations.

We have several Volunteer re-Homing centres in the immediate vicinity - used on Rescue Days, with a Team of Dedicated Volunteers assisting with the work. All Battery Hens re-homed are rescued from Slaughter in the morning (Usually Saturdays) and are all Re-homed during the Afternoon in order to reduce stress for the birds. Some rescues can take place all Day on the Saturday when numbers being rescued require it. After speaking with you, we would agree a date and time for you to collect your Hens and supply you the exact location / collection point details applicable.

Hens are not available or kept for re-homing at other times - but any Donations received really help with our work to cover costs and enable more and more Hens to be Re-homed. A Poultry Crate costs £25 - £30 alone - and we need more and more to carry on the work saving Ex Battery Hens from Slaughter when they are still laying eggs and can live free range and happy lives for many years to come.

Ex Battery Hens, Caged Hens and Barn Hens are Rescued and Re-homed to Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire, Essex from the Cambridgeshire Hen Rescue HQ.

Any Donations you can make will make a Huge difference to our ongoing work.
